In the heart of the history of an ancient village, a place where hospitality and familiarity make your stay a moment of detachment from the frenzy and an opportunity to rediscover lost sounds, colours, and flavours.
The love for the countryside and the desire to return to my origins pushed me to restore an old farmhouse called 'la bigattiera' near Osimo in the province of Ancona. La bigattiera is the characteristic last raised floor of this type of rural construction used long ago for the breeding of silkworms. The B&B was created from the renovation of an adjacent annex used for tobacco processing, another typical crop of the last century that has also disappeared. The farmhouse, nestled in the Val Musone, close to Osimo, surrounded by the orderly Marche hills, is strategically located to quickly reach characteristic towns and villages: Osimo, a Roman city, Offagna, the city of the Fortress, Recanati, the city of Leopardi, Loreto, the city of the Holy House, Ancona, the Doric capital, and finally, just 20 km away, the Riviera del Conero with its exclusive beaches. The Rooms ("Le Sigaraie" and "La Tabacchiera") are created from the old rooms used for tobacco processing and are the result of a careful, recently completed renovation. Tastefully and meticulously furnished down to the smallest detail, they offer every comfort: Independent entrance, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and courtesy kit, bed with orthopedic base and memory foam mattress, heating and air conditioning, TV and Wi-Fi.
