In the entrance atrium of the Town Hall of Osimo, twelve Roman statues will welcome you, all headless, which, from the heights of their centuries, could tell you the vicissitudes of the entire city.
The nickname "Senza Testa" (Headless) given to the citizens of Osimo comes precisely from these sculptures, which in all probability were simply left unfinished.
